Jin, from Samurai Champloo. It's a G R E A T anime. It ended last week, and the reruns began today. I thought of drawing Jin a while ago, just because the style is so different and he's my fave char on the anime.
HB mech pencil on skecthbook. Scan is original size. Ref picture is a still from the anime series. Can't really trace it back to the episode though. Maybe I'll go back to Inuyasha and try Inu no Taisho tomorrow.  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I was in love it, but they stopped airing it here.
I love the anime - it's funny without making the characters look ridiculous, and the main chars are all really good. I have it on DVD
It just sorta...disappeared one day.
I must say I prefer Samurai Champloo by a loooooooong shot.
He's the quiet type, much like Sesshoumaru... the typical loner that discovers it's actually better NOT to be alone.
I'll have to find Samurai Champloo online somewhere
